As in years past, Aubuchon will be offering special discounts in every area of the store on some of its most popular items. The stores will then be donating a portion of that day’s sales receipts to a local charity – the monies raised this year will be given to the Gouverneur Fire Department.

Celebrated at each of its 140 stores across New York and New England, Aubuchon sees this day as an opportunity to give something back to the local communities which it serves.

William Aubuchon III, the company's CEO, proudly stated that the company has raised over a quarter of a million dollars for local charities as a result of stores' sales from the first five Customer Appreciation Days, and he expects this one to be a rousing success as well. "Customer Appreciation Day is always one of our favorite events because it gives us a chance to let people in the community know how much we appreciate their patronage and friendship."
